Counting on Conservation
CREEM held a public lecture, “Counting on Conservation”, during the International Statistical Ecology Conference in July 2018.
Dr. Alison Johnston and Dr. Stacy DeRuiter talked about their research, highlighting how statistics plays an important part in conservation efforts, and they looked at the threats faced by migrating birds and the effects of underwater sound on whale and dolphin behaviour.
