I am interested in ecology, conservation and welfare of marine animals, and also in methods to look into these - survey and analysis.

During my MSc and PhD, I investigated the ecology and conservation of humpback whales in Brazil, using line transect surveys and telemetry tracking data.

As a postdoc, I am tagging Antarctic seals to understand the impacts of climate change on an Antarctic ecosystem.
