I'm interested in habitat selection, conservation, potential impact of human activities on marine animals, and in the methods to look into these - survey and analysis.

During my MSc and PhD, I investigated some aspects of the ecology of humpback whales in Brazil, using data from line transect surveys and from telemetry tracking.

As a postdoc, I am tagging Antarctic seals to help understanding the consequences of climate change to that environment and to those animals.
