Abstract

The triennial EURING Technical Meetings are the closest thing we currently have to an international conference on statistical ecology. The focus is on the analysis of data from marked individuals, particularly birds, but data from non-marked animal populations are also considered. The latest meeting was held in January in Dunedin, New Zealand. In this very informal seminar, I will try to give a flavour of what went on, including highlights from each session. If you want me to cover any particular talks in more detail, please email me in advance. View programme and abstracts.

Note that some of these speakers will, I hope, be giving NCSE seminars over the next year, so any feedback on which you’d like to hear would be useful. I will also show a few holiday snaps.
