Abstract

The PCAD4Cod project is an integrated set of studies into the impact of seismic survey sounds on Atlantic cod.  The studies include a field experiment where tagged fish were exposed to a real-sized seismic array in open water, and an experiment using an outdoor floating pen with overhead video recorder and other instrumentation where individual fish were exposed to single airgun playbacks.  We are three PhD students involved with the lab component and are visiting CREEM for a few days to discuss analysis of our experimental data.  We will present some preliminary findings and welcome feedback and suggestions.
