In August I attended the conference “Change and Biodiversity: Integrating Mechanisms of Interactions, Feedbacks and Scale”, hosted by the University Research Priority Program on Global Change and Biodiversity (URPP GCB), University of Zurich (http://www.gcb.uzh.ch/index.html) as an invited speaker. In this talk I will reflect on impressions from the conference – both wrt the science discussed there and the format of the conference.”
